If you don't have an access code, click
here
to request one. Click only once,
we're swamped, so be patient on our reply. This is a required input to use this service.
Your access code tells the Sandbox what products to
show and controls the ID number shown at the top of
the agency locator list.
When a
counseling session begins, the counselor can ask the
client if they have a ID number at the top of their agency list.
If they do, they can read it to the counselor who
will then enter it into the Ibis RMA counseling software.
The ID number triggers Ibis RMA to show the
products and pricing that have been proposed to this
particular client.
Counselors will be looking at accurate loan scenarios, and
there will be fewer complaints and less confusion
about differences in figures between those that clients have received from a lender and what they hear during their counseling session. There is no contact between the counselor and the lender, yet the counselor can easily see and use the same figures proposed by the lender. This should eliminate concern about counselors steering clients to other lenders.
Lenders can be
more confident that clients will be counseled on loan examples similar to those offered by them to the client.
And soon lenders will
have to enter the HCS (Housing Counseling
System) numbers of the counselors on the list they
provide to each client into the FHA Connection. The
RMCA locator list shows these HCS numbers.
Counselor Training Notes:
To test drive the new system, first create a Sandbox
by clicking the 'Start Sandbox' button that will
appear below as soon as you log-in here. On the
first page you enter client info. On the second page
you can review the numbers that the client will
receive (let Ibis know what default products you
want to show). On the third page you can email the
Sandbox to yourself or print it.
Then log-in to
RMA.IbisReverse.com as usual. On the
Navigator page enter the Record Locator Number (RLN)
of the Sandbox you created and click 'Get Info'. The
client's info and product will appear. Click 'Save
Client' at the bottom of the page. The reason we
have you create a Sandbox on your own is for you to
see how it works and to generate a unique RLN. Once
a RLN is used, that client is assigned to whichever
counselor entered it first. But your admin folks can
move clients from one counselor to another. |
